01 Dec Welcome to our new website
Welcome to the new Kappa Data website
Kappa Data enjoys sharing insights into the latest trends, technology and best practices in IT. Knowledge sharing is in our blood, as is renewal, which is why we recently decided to give our website a new look.
We spoke with Patrick Casteels, founder and co-manager of Kappa Data, about the new position occupied by the website in Kappa Data’s marketing strategy.
Patrick, can you tell us why you decided to overhaul the website?
Our website was several years old, and to be honest, we weren’t using it enough. We’re big fans of sharing knowledge, as is shown by the wide range of webinars, networking events and other events that we organise every year in the Benelux.
Unfortunately, our website wasn’t giving our visitors enough to get their teeth into, even though the website is obviously the ideal medium for sharing knowledge. That’s why we recently decided to give it an overhaul.
What are the main new features?
We wanted to make it easier to navigate the website, and give it a calmer look and feel. We hope that this will make it easier for visitors to find the information they’re looking for faster. We’ve also significantly optimised the website for search engines such as Google.
In the future, we expect this to result in more visitors being led directly to our targeted landing pages from their online searches. This makes things easier for visitors, and raises our chances of establishing a valuable relationship with them.
The main reason for developing a new website was, of course, our reinforced focus on content marketing. We want to be able to share, more often and more easily, high-quality content that informs, inspires and convinces visitors to contact us.
We live for technology, and for our partners and customers. We hope our website can both inspire existing contacts and attract new partners and customers who are unaware of the existence of Kappa Data.
Another important feature is the chat function. Visitors to our website are immediately helped online with their questions during office hours, so that’s another useful piece of extra added value we can offer them.
What will the content marketing look like?
I don’t want to give any hard numbers, but you can be sure that we’ll be frequently sharing independent, bite-sized and understandable blog posts, whitepapers and e-books for all target groups on our website. Here, we’ll be concentrating on commercial and technical staff, starters, and experienced professionals.
We’re starting off with a blog, but we certainly don’t rule out the possibility of a vlog and a podcast being added soon. Above all, we hope that our visitors, partners and customers will tell us what’s important to them, and try to respond accordingly.
How can we stay informed about new content on the website?
Very simple: subscribe to our newsletter, and follow us on social media. We’re mainly active on LinkedIn and Facebook. En heb je vragen of suggesties? And if you’ve got any questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to contact us by phone or e-mail. We’ll gladly make time for a good chat!
Thank you Patrick, and good luck with the new website.
