Every year, Cybersec Europe brings together experts, startups, and innovators to discuss the latest developments and challenges in the field of cybersecurity. Kappa Data was present again this year with an enthusiastic team!
I am Margaux, a Multilingual Communication student at the University of Ghent, and I am doing a four-week internship with the dynamic marketing team at Kappa Data. For me, Cybersec Europe was a truly unique experience. I was immediately immersed in the world of cybersecurity and IT.
Join me in discovering what our booth looked like, which goodies we had to offer, which new colleagues we met (yes, they were there too!), and how we highlighted our vendors.

Cybersec Europe 2024 in style
If you paid us a visit at last year’s Cybersec Europe, you probably noticed that this year’s booth was twice the size. This way we could welcome more customers, and it also allowed our vendors more space to present their products and services.
Our gadgets and goodies were a big hit this year. Our Kappa socks, flower pots, matches and shopping cart coins could be found all over our booth. Our vendors also came prepared with lots of nice gifts.

Tasty highlights
In the early morning, our booth quickly filled up with customers (and colleagues 😉), drawn by the enticing aroma of our freshly brewed coffee. The coffee was a big hit, sometimes we could barely keep up with all the orders behind the bar.
The real highlight, however, came at noon: our Kappa Kroques. From the Kappa Klassic to the Kappa Kreamy Salmon and the Kappa Krazy Italian, there was something to suit every taste! We were thrilled to see our Kappa Kroques bringing smiles to the faces of our customers, vendors, and colleagues.
Naturally, visitors could also indulge in a nice glass of wine, cava, or a refreshing soft drink at our bar. Most popular, though, were our unique draft beers, the Bronzen Baron and the Koperen Markies.
Cybersec: where networking steals the show
At Cybersec Europe, I had expected people to mainly come for a bite and drinks (and to grab some gadgets). Still, it was surprising and impressive to witness colleagues networking with vendors and customers, vendors enthusiastically showcasing their offerings, and our booth being overrun with visitors. At Cybersec, Kappa Data focuses on the essence: face-to-face networking and making connections.
Hopefully, the vendors and customers enjoyed this edition of Cybersec Europe as much as we did at Kappa Data.
