Network / Security Trainer Consultant

In addition to selling products, Kappa Data offers a wide range of services such as training, configuration assistance, pre- and postsale and marketing support.

Kappa Data operates in Belgium, where its headquarters are located, as well as in the Netherlands (Utrecht), in Poland and in France.

To catalyze its growth, Kappa Data is looking for a Solution Engineer to join our technical team.

You will work from the headquarters in Belgium; Kappa Data – Grote Steenweg 18, 9840 De Pinte but collaborate on the strategy of the Kappa Data group.

What we expect from you:

• Become a true technology and product expert.
• Excel in customer focus and communication.
• Obtain Authorized Trainer statuses from various vendors.
• Conduct training using in-house training materials or the vendor’s official training courses
• Installations and Interventions provide the necessary field experience.
• You are active in the Benelux region and beyond.
• Maintain your own virtual and physical training lab environments
• Bring your tests to life in the customer’s network.
• Perform Proof of Concepts and be a founder of new high-tech projects.
• Act as level 3 support engineer for the most advanced support tickets.

Profile:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or something similar), or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Knowledge of networking and/or security solutions.
• Ethernet Switching, IP routing protocols, NAT, QoS, Wi-Fi, Firewalls, email security, … hold no secrets for you.
• Passion to share your knowledge and experience with customers by giving training courses
• Analytical skills and smooth application of procedures without any problem.
• Good priority management, high level of proactivity and dedication.
• Very good oral and written expression in English and Dutch, French is a plus.
• Team player and customer oriented.
• Motivated to invest in his/her career through self-study.
• Willingness to confirm his/her knowledge by obtaining required certifications
