Extreme Campus Fabric – Troubleshooting, 24-25/10/2024

Extreme Networks’ Fabric Connect is an advanced, reliable and high-performance networking solution. This training course goes over the technologies that support fabric operation and services, highlighting proper operation and methods to determine misconfigurations. Identifying problems at network layer 1, layer 2 and layer 3 is discussed, along with how to troubleshoot fabric service problems. Classes are proportionally supported by hands-on troubleshooting activities on Universal Hardware 5520, 5320 and EXOS.

Target Audience

This course is designed for network administrators, support engineers and integrators responsible for managing and troubleshooting Extreme Networks Fabric Connect switches and devices.

 

Requirements

This training builds on the knowledge gained in the “Extreme Fabric – Installation and Configuration” training.To be eligible for certification in this course, you must first have earned the certificate from the previous course. Students should have a good understanding of SPBM concepts and general switch management.

 

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will have acquired the operational knowledge to:

• Use specific tools from VOSS to troubleshoot Fabric Connect issues.
• Set up the management network correctly and identify problems that may arise.
• Identify a correctly configured SPBM node and locate problems at Layer 1 and 2.
• Explain how to identify and resolve fabric service problems.
