This course provides an in-depth discussion of the advanced features of Extreme Networks’ Fabric Connect for integrating SPBM with other protocols and solution requirements. You will learn how to extend campus configuration by implementing Fabric Extend, including Fabric over SD-WAN. You will see how Distributed Virtual Routing (DvR) is used to optimize routing in the Fabric. Redistributing routes from outside protocols to IS-IS is discussed with routing policies. Lessons are supported by hands-on configuration of Universal Hardware 5520, 5320 and EXOS.
This course is designed for network administrators, support engineers and integrators responsible for the architecture and administration of Extreme Networks Fabric Connect switches and devices.
This training builds on the knowledge gained in the “Extreme Fabric – Installation and Configuration” training.
Students should have a good understanding of SPBM concepts and general switch management.
